Everything about our experience was extremely enjoyable. We get together with friends for Saturday Dinner. We found the best of everything here. Our meals were wonderful, the portions generous, prices reasonable, and great customer service. We have finally found "our Chinese Restaurant"

I order teriyaki chicken plate it cost me over 8 dollars. An the chicken was so bland and the vegetable salad had no flavor. The rice okay.
The teriyaki sauce really sucked and had no taste to it. What a waste of my time and money. -

Don't be discouraged by all the superficial reviews. If you're here for the food, this is the stop.
This food is real ingredients, actually flavorful, cheap, and big portions. The place is not very impressive looking, but that's not an issue if you are looking for what this little gem has to offer. -

I've been here a few more times throughout the years and the quantity for the price is the major reason I assume most people continue to come here.
Great value for your buck
The customer service sucks - though
There's an older Hispanic guy that's always here. Idk if he owns this place or the only cashier but he has no personality at all. Sadly
Food comes out pretty fast though -

A lot can change over eight years. This used to be my go-to spot for rice bowls, chicken and short ribs. Last time I ate here was at the old Lake Oswego location about eight years ago around 2010, then moved out of state. Lake Oswego is long gone, so Beaverton it is.
Sadly, things really seemed to have gone downhill and they've changed their recipes. I ordered the short rib with chicken combo togo with extra teriyaki sauce, my usual go to entree. The self-serve togo sauces are gone, at least the sweet teriyaki sauce still tastes good.
The Good: Short ribs were tasty and not overcooked or dry. Rice was cooked right and plenty of teriyaki sauce on the side. Service was fast and friendly.
The Bad: Chicken was really dry and stale, obviously it had been in the warming pot too long without enough seasoning or liquid. Veggies and cabbage were soggy and diced up too much, they used to be crisp and in larger chunks. The flavor was I don't know what. Why did they change the recipe? Even the sweet teriyaki sauce and Sriracha didn't make it taste any better. Too bad.
I was really hoping this place would have been what I remembered, guess not. The Yelp page says this is Chinese food which is incorrect, if anything it's more of a Hawaiian Korean hybrid. Unfortunately, I don't see this place lasting much longer with the better flavored competition, the crowds have also seemed to slow as well. :(
